Lina Balenaite Graduated from the Russian University of Humanities. Worked as the historian of architecture at the Monument Preservation Institute in Vilnius. Member of CEU alumni (sat the 3 months course on the History and Philosophy of Art and Architecture in CEU Prague). Head of the World Bank Project Management unit of the Lithuanian Private Agriculture Development Loan. British Council Director Lithuania. Director of the Menorama, association of cultural NGOs.
Birute Jatautaite, PhD Has MS in Public Administration from New York University, and an Undergraduate Certificate in Donor Development Practice from London Metropolitan university. Until the end of 2008 she headed the Baltic-American Partnership Program in Lithuania, which was jointly funded by the U.S. Government and the Open Society Institute. Birute sits on a very wide range of advisory groups (including a Working Group on Development on Open Society under the Lithuanian Government), and is a member of several NGO boards, like e.g., Save the Children, the Civic Responsibility Foundation, etc. Since the end of 2008 she is a Director of the Community Change Centre.

Jonas Dagys Associate professor at the Dept. of Logic and History of Philosophy, Vilnius University. Philosophy Doctorate at Vilnius University (Doctoral Thesis “Reductive Theories of Mind in Contemporary Controversies of Philosophy”). Fellowships and awards include George Soros fellowship for doctoral studies at CEU (2001 – 04), Münster Preis 2006 from Vördervereins Balticum, Second Prize (together with Nerijus Milerius) at the Awards for Popularization of Science of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Lithuania. Creative activities - several photo exhibitions in various art centres and galleries in Lithuania.
Irena Veisaitė (Chair of the EFL Sub Board), PhD in Philology, professor, theatre historian. She was one of the founders of Open Society Fund – Lithuania and chaired OSFL for many years. Now she is the ombudsman of the Open Society Institute - Budapest, member of the Lithuanian Committee for the National Culture and Arts Award, chair of the Lithuanian UWC National Committee, member of curatorial of the Thomas Mann cultural centre in Nida, etc.
Diana Vilyte, economist, Director of the Lithuanian Business Support Agency. Executive Director of the Open Society Fund - Lithuania in 1997 – 2006. Board Member of the Lithuanian National Radio and Television in 2000 – 2007, Deputy Chairman of the Lithuanian National Radio and Television Council (2003 -2007). Member of the Board of several non-governmental organizations (Civil Society Institute, Transparency International - Lithuanian chapter, etc.). Founder and member of the Board of the civic movement “Citizens Alliance”.
